Sunday Night Wine Up is out of the deep part of the cellar. The drink by date says 2012 some 9 years ago. It still has a beautiful red and orange hue with a bit of browning on the edges of the glass. The nose had subtle notes of prunes, a little spice and strawberry jam. Good tannic structure with a favorable volume in the mouth. A lingering spice on the finish. A good appreciation for a wine that managed its 23 year age quite well.
Traditional vinification with 3 to 4 weeks of vatting in cement vats.
